FIONA RELIEF
Any Donation Helps - Island Wide Donation Drop Off Locations and Times Listed Below
As we begin to see the destruction left in the tracks of Hurricane Fiona, our friends and family on the West coast of Newfoundland have taken the brunt of this storm. With roads washed out, houses lost at sea, and countless individuals displaced by the damage – we are activating our community to donate supplies for our loved ones on the west coast. On Monday, Sept 26, a tractor trailer will be leaving St John’s to deliver supplies that are donated by our amazing community to the impacted residents on the west coast.
After contacting the Salvation Army, they are in the midst of setting up temporary shelters for those displaced in and around Port Aux Basques. We have identified that the following items are in need:
-
Water
-
Toilet Paper
-
Blankets
-
Personal Hygiene products
-
Any food items
If you can donate any of the following items, supplies can be dropped off at 1308 Thorburn Road, Portugal Cove – St. Philips.
This is what Newfoundlander’s and Labradorians are known for. Helping others in a time of crisis. It’s time to show our support once again for our own people in this province.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
